ABOUT US Eccleston Books & Curios [ABN 93 234 031 096] buys and sells lots of books. One of Australia's smaller second-hand bookshop operations, it is growing year by year. Our warehouse is in New Berrima in the Southern Highlands. However, the story of Eccleston Books started well before this. Yes Eccleston Books & Curios are real people, a wonderful 35 year partnership of Michael & Mandy Eccleston. Michael has been a collector for well over 40 years, not only for his personal collection, but also building an extensive range of books for stock. Michael has continued to hunt down those elusive collectable titles, raising the level of quality that we can offer our customers. Mandy has also been a collector, specialising in children's books, which is her passion. This has lead to filling a small warehouse with stock. All of these will be available for your purchase from this website or other connecting databases or even by simple email request. (We may still be in the process of getting that particular book you want on our database.) Although we both certainly have areas of particular interest e.g. Australiana, Collectable Children's Books, Out of print collectable, 1st Edition Australian Fiction, History, Literature, Visual Arts etc., the general nature of our bookselling allows us to place ours above those of other Specialist and Antiquarian outlets.
